| Afternoon
From memory, you cannot choose an email address to send the email to - it is hardcoded, in which case, how does this work ?

| Iain,
I wrote a lengthy post on how emails are sent. You should be able to find what you need.

| Hi Roberto
Thanks - it was not so much about sending an email, but using the pre-baked form that SC uses for sending info.
I am not sure if you have looked at the Xmas Card App, but if you do you will know what I mean.
I like the form format, but you cannot edit the email or add in an email address you want to send it to.
By the way, I did manage to find your post - lol.

| I just checked the template and when you are done you click on send, you choose email and your email client opens (outside SC) with a new email and you type your email receipient(s). |
|

| Hi Roberto
Are we looking at different things?
I just typed an email and it just says the email has been sent - not sure where it went, but it did not give me a chance to say where I wanted to send it.
Are you looking at the Christmas Card App and clicking on Tab 4 ?
Iain |
|

| No, I follow the instructions on tab 3 (How).
I think tab 4 is a way for the app user to contact YOU |
|

| Iain,The card size should be 320 x 424px. The first think to do is to change the Target Email address in tab4.html. Please set there your own email.
Also please keep all files in existing template, but you can add some more card, pages.
Test your application on device. Choose a card, you will have in the right top corner a button "Customize" click on it. You will have a new opened page, tap there your greeting message, name. After that click on button "Send" you will have 4 options: 1. Send by Email 2. Post on Facebook 3. Save to Library 4. Cancel
Bellow see a small tutorial, to use Christmas contact form:
1. Choose your template: 2. Select Edit Pages:
|
|

| 3. Choose Contact page form: |
|

| 4. Choose Edit and set your email and your confirmation message: |
|

| 5. Save all changes and Done: |

| Hi Guys -
I have created a card app for my Android device...but the SEND and CUSTOMIZE buttons are not showing at the top as they do on Apple devices.
When you choose a card it just shows the card with the fields and the [%field%]=Field1 text, which I know is not supposed to be there. So, I'm obviously doing something wrong.
Ideally, I want the card to show and I want to let the user add their message BELOW the card. Can somebody tell me WHERE or HOW to get the SEND and CUSTOMIZE buttons to show up on an ANDROID device?
Thanks, Ellie
P.S. I did open a support tix for this, so sorry for the double post... |

| Ellie,
Forget it. Christmas Card App is not available for Android. I tried forever to get SC to have this available but I finally received a message a few days before Christmas that it still will not be available. It's quite unfortunate.
I'm still hoping they will eventually get it made for Android, but I've let it go. |
