To post a message in the messenger page you need to log-in via Google or Facebook, when I chose my google account to log-in the error occurred and it says this:

"Error
Unrecoverable error
UNREGISTERED_ON_API_CONSOLE"

And when I click OK it does nothing, it takes me back to the Log-In page.

Hope you guys can help :)

Hello,

To use the Google authentication in your Messenger feature, you need to add the related application package name to an active Google Authentication API.

For more details consider to open a support ticket on this case.

Thank you Vick for the info, I will give it a shot with the API.

I guess it is not a bug and I apologize for putting it in that category it is just me being stupid :)

P.S. Is there a way to skip the Log-In via Google or FaceBook stuff and just choose a nick and go straight into sending messages and stuff... I know it is a security deal and anti-spam so a person has to authenticate himself but I do not think that people are willing to put in they're trust in a messenger with they're real life Facebook or Google account username and password - Is there a way to register a user within the app and that In-app user can join the messenger?

The user has to login in order to send messages. Currently there is no option to join the topic without the authorization.

Consider to contact us if you will have any related issues.

Yup, I get it :)

Just one more question - If I want to make an Messenger app just a simple Messenger module so me and some buddies can in-house communicate without publishing it to the app store I know THAT can be done, but can Android and IOS version of the only Messenger app cross-platform communicate or will Android just be for Android users and IOS just for IOS - can thay share one chat database?

I know what you gonna say - Use Viber or WhatsUp or FaceBook messenger, it can do Android-IOS cross but you know - for science :)

Messenger can be used only per application.

You won't be able to use the same Messenger page on Cross-platforms or two different apps.

Vick
