If I want to publish the same App on iphone and android - do I need to buy package 1 for 9$ (1 App) or do I need to buy no 2 for 29$ (3 Apps)?

Hello Elmar,

In order to have identical apps for both iPhone and Android, first you need to design the app for 1 platform and once ready, you may duplicate it pointing out the target for a different platform. However, please note that even if the content is similar, but the platforms are different those 2 apps are to be considered as 2 different applications, thus, when built each of them will be locked as a separate line under a subscription.

In other words, Basic plan gives you the option to create 1 app and make 1 update per month. Therefore, in case you are going to have 2 apps (for iOS and Android OS) you should either subscribe for 2 Basic plans or for 1 Plus plan (which is most efficient when building up to 2-3 apps).

Thank you,

Hi Ethan,

how does it work if you've already signed up for the Basic plan, but want to upgrade to the Plus or Business plan. Do you have to pay the $99 signup fee again?

Hello Carsten,

In order to upgrade your subscription plan, you need to log into your account at SC, then go to your Profile.

There, click on "Subscriptions" link:

On the page you are re-directed to you should be able to see your current active subscription plan. Click on it and then follow the "Upgrade..." link on the right side of the web page.

Now, you should be able to see the list of the available plan, select the one that suits you most and proceed with the payment. Please, remember that no setup fee is charged when you upgrade your subscription plan.

Thank you,
