Hi

We are a webconsulting company who also produce apps for our clients. Som of our clients wants to send push notifications. As I see it we cant allowe them to enter the backend (Seattleclouds.com) because they in that case have access to all apps. Is there a solution to that issue?

I posed this question a long time ago. This is definitely needed without the Seattle Clouds branding ;)

Does anyone at SC know if this is something that we can expect to be available in the near future ?? It makes perfect sense that those of us who design apps for clients need to be able to offer them the ability to send push notifications ( but without coming via this website to do so ).

Hello everyone,

Thank you for bringing this question up. We will definitely consider providing a standard tool for sending push notification from a client web site, but for now the only ready-made solution exists for Publisher and Enterprise subscribers, they can have a form for sending push notifications set up at their web site for free which is also available for those who have chosen a one-time App + Infrastructure offer.

Any other proposals are subjected for further discussion in a support ticket.

Thank you for your interest in our services.

Is the above described method available to clients of a white-labled version?

there is a url you can post to for sending push notifications from your own website. check the forum here for the instructions.

I can create a bot for this actually that can be distributed to customers. I also have a PN schedule created on my own webserver that I could sell also if anybody is interested in either of those.

A bot I can create can have all the login information in the bot itself and would just show a throbber as it's sending the push notification in the background. So no navigating pages would be seen nor would there be access to the other apps.

I just submitted a push app to Apple. This app will be called Push Plus. It will be downloadable from the App Store. It has 2 login screens. 1 for developers and 1 for the client. The developer will be able to encrypt their login info and give it to the client. The client will enter the encrypted info and the login data will be sent to SC. No one has access to your SC data. The customer then types in the announcement page, 6 topics, then can push to iPhone, iPad, or android from their iPhone. I can give you free temp access to the previewer until Apple Oks the app. It will be a minimal charge to the developer for access each month. email me @ .....ken@ realestateappdesign.com
