Introducing iCalendar

In the process of making my own apps I developed a few additional features that SeattleClouds agreed to integrate.

The first one ready for public release is iCalendar, a calendar page quite similar to the native iphone version, but that you can add to you own app to share your app-related events with your users.

Watch a demo of iCalendar here:

Roberto,

This is awesome! I personally played with it a little bit and it's great. It looks good, it works well ... it's great.

I'm sure many people will find it useful. I personally recommend it!

We look forward for other iStuff you plan to release. :)

Best regards,

That's fantastic. I was just thinking about a feature like this. As far as functionality goes, when the date of an event arrives will it notify the user via push notification or something similar?
Great idea. But I don't think that it is possible to push a notification to a single iPhone. I will check with SC though.
For iOS version 4.0 and later we have LocalPushNotifications available, i.e. just schedule a notification at a specific date and time. I'll try to find some time to have a look at it.

Had a look at the demo and it looks great. Couple of questions / suggestions...

1) Will we be able to modify the colours / style of the calendar ?

2) When you enter an even on the Admin side, you need to manually enter the date - 2010 - 10 - 07. I think it would be much easier if there was a type of drop down menu for the dates ( I am sure there are some simple calander scripts you can use to make this work this way - though this is just something I think can be improved to make it easier to use )

3) Pricing - is the fee of $29.90 for each time I would like to have the icalendar in use on a single app ?? If I want to use this on three different apps - is the price $29.90 x 3 ??

Thanks for all your hard work - it is really appreciated.

Hi Glenn: 1) I have not planned any customization. If this module becomes popular I may invest some more time and develop editing tools. 2) You are right. It's on my to-do list. 3) Yes. The module is priced at $29.90 for one app, but I will consider volume rebates or an "unlimited app" fee.
I changed the date-entry field. Now when you click it, a miniature calendar popups.

Please note that if you want to edit an event you will have to delete the event, then create it again. I will implement event editing in the future.

Similarly, you may have noticed that once an event has been saved for a speific date, no other events can be logged for that date. If you want to log more than one event for that date (e.g. breakfast, lunch and dinner), simply re-write the date entry with all the events.

Hello, It is possible edit a language in name of month, or is possible change names of month a and days, f.e: October to Október, Monday to Pondelok etc.?

Hello Tomas. This feature is not available right now, but if you purchase this module I will add it. Once you make the payment I will contact you and ask you for the translation.

Roberto is there anyway to add more than one event  in the calendar

Mar 28, 2011 12:22 PM
Hi Andre!

Since it's a text field you can simply enter 2 events yourself:

e.g.

*12am lunch with John
*3pm review meeting
*6 pm early dinner with Jane

Robert,

I have a few clients that would love to be able to control their calendar using your module. However, I want to move them away from the SC site and branding. Is it possible to have the log in page not SC branded.

Just speaking in reference to the tag "module for SC iPhone app."
Also, can you email me concern licensing this module under my company's name.
