Memo Game

SeattleClouds developers designed a new interactive page type "Memo Games". SC Memo game is an interesting Classic Memory Game that can test and improve your visual memory skills.

To add a Memo Game into your app please follow this tutorial.

1) To add a Memo Game into your app go to the App Dashboard -> Edit Pages - > (+) To add a New Page

Choose Memo Game page type, give a name for this page and press Create button.

2) Next step will be to choose an image file from the resource manager for Hidden Images in game.

**NOTE: Memo Game uses 100px x 100px images, otherwise our system will auto resize your picture to fit in 100px x 100px cell.

Also you need to create new resource files by pressing on Add (+) button or delete the resources you do not need by pressing Delete (-) button.

3) Add an image from Resource Manager for every Resource.

You need 18 resources for an iPhone/iPod Memo Game (6x6) or 28 resources for iPad (7x8).

4) Press SAVE

Now you can try your game using Seattle Clouds application.

My game look like this:

Does this game/new page require a new build also? I created a memo game in an app that is already in the store. I sync'd the game, page and all the images. but it only shows a white page.

If a new build is necessary, it that a required process for all the new pages being created by you?

Thanks in advance.

i made a memory game and had lots of trouble. i would save the images then revist the page and they had disappeared.  I used a support ticket and someone built it for me. it seems to still have some bugs.

Please open a support ticket and we will investigate your issue.

In case anyone needs this info, my memo page was working very nicely on my SC app but not on the actual downloaded app. The app was already in the App store and I added the Memo Page later and this was why it wasn't working on my downloaded app. So a new build is required.

My above question: If a new build is necessary, it that a required process for all the new pages being created by you?

Per SC: All new pages that was added in Page Type Resource Manager after the build was uploaded to iTunes.

Thank you SC, Aurel

Thanks Liza & Aurel it's good to know this.

So a rebuild must be done if we add a new page once the app is in iTunes but do we have to resubmit the app for approval ?

Yes, you'll have to resubmit the App to Apple for approval. There is usually no problem with these approvals since the app was previously approve. This also takes the usualy 7-10 days for approval from Apple.

Seattle Clouds, I mentioned this on another forum question but here it is again.

A timer is desperately needed on this memo and the puzzle games/pages. Everyone who uses these games mentions or suggests it. People like to challenge themselves, to beat their previous scores. Other similar apps games have timers/clocks.

Will you please consider this as a priority?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Liza

We already working on it and it will be available soon.

Unfortunately I can not provide you with any deadline now.

Thank you for your good advices, we really appreciate them.

I have a quick question about this game. If we do more images than suggested will it use random photos? Thinking of making a puzzle with 30 images...

You need 18 resources for an iPhone/iPod Memo Game (6x6) or 28 resources for iPad (7x8).

If you will upload 30 images for this game, only first 18 images for iPhone/iPod or 28 images for iPad will be used.

Awesome thanks for the reply guys, any timer action coming? It needs it! Maybe something like a simple arcade where it keeps score of your best timed games on a page somewhere....

Hi, Nigel

Our developers already have this task in work items. I can't give you any deadline but a Timer for this game or something like that will be available soon.

Best regards,

I love how Seattle Clouds is making interactive stuff like this. Might I suggest an integrated shared scoreboard/leaderboard so that everyone using the app can challenge each other?

Also, can they choose from a number of puzzles or just 1?
Thank you for your feedback

Just wondering have anyone got a different dimension than the one that's shown ?

It shown 6 X 6.
On mine is 9 x 10 ! Really tiny icons !
Anyone know why ?
I used Android .

Hi, Jimmy

This is a normal behavior. I think you have used for testing an Android Tablet with screen high resolution.

In this case you need to add 45 resources: 9x10/2=45
