If you have your podcast, we have a page type for it. Seattle Clouds online application editor allows its users to add podcasts to their apps in a very easy way. On a device though the podcast will have a fairly sophisticated presentation.

The Podcast page type is very easy to set up. In your app's Dashboard go to Edit Pages and add a new page. You will be redirected to the Marketplace where you can find that page type for your application. You are able to view the Marketplace in GRID, LIST and ICONS.

Choose the Podcast page type and click "USE THIS PAGE TYPE".

The Podcast page type editor has many standard options like Facebook sharing and style properties editing, header image and title:

The Podcast specific editing option is Podcast URL. The Podcast URL field takes a link to the RSS feed of the podcast. In the app podcast will look like a feed each item of which is clickable. Clicking on each item takes a user to a page with more information about selected podcast and a "Play" button.

Hello,

Is there a way to customize the podcast page? This is what I'm trying to accomplish:

1) Can I tap on a podcast title and have it begin playing without taking me to an additional page with the podcast episode description?

2) If not, how can I add a button to return to the podcast page without using the "tabs" layout?

3) Can I customize the look for the podcast page(s)? As of right now, it looks very basic with an underlined blue link on a white background.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,

I am new at this. I am trying to create an app that can feature multiple speakers who's lectures can be periodically updated. For instance, there could be speaker A with 3 lectures and speaker B with 5. I thought that music stream template would fit my needs. I created a sample podcast page http://leviatanelov.podomatic.com/ but when I put it into the podcast webpage as a link, nothing seems to show up. Not sure why.

My questions:

1. why does it not show up?

2. is music stream template likely to be the best closest approximation?

3. do you happen to have a design that in addition to showing the podcasts, can actually create one, that is speakers can each independently upload their lectures, classify them by topic and have the website automatically generate a list of a) most recent lectures, b) list of lectures by authors and c) list of lectures by  topics?
