In-App Browser Page Type

In-App Browser page gives the end user an option to browse a webpage or a website using basic navigation controls within a native application.

To add an In-App Browser page you have to:

  1. Access the app's Dashboard where you want to use the page
  1. Click on "+" Add Button and find in the search engine "In-App Browser" page from the Marketplace
  1. Give an ID to the page and add it to the application

!!!This page type is available only for iOS platform. If you want to integrate a webpage using such feature for Android OS, you may consider using Mobile page type instead.

In the Edit Mode of the page, you have to set up a title for the page and start URL page.

NOTE!!! On the online simulator a default image is displayed, thus, you will not be able to see the changes after pointing out the Start page URL, unless you access your app from a device using SeattleCloud previewer application.

If you could please add an option to make the bottom navigation chrome optional, that would be ideal. Sometimes you don't want that (the left and right arrows and open in safari menu)

Hello!  I am trying to use an "inapp browser page" but I am unable to see it when testing from my iPhone using the test features of seattle clouds.  i titled the page and inserted the start url when i created the new page.

ensure that URL in the in app browser page starts with http://

Does this only work on iOS?  On Android, I get the Seattle Cloud's Twitter placeholder image.  It does not bring up the correct URL.

On iOS, it works as intended.  It brings up the page correctly.
