Mobile Page type

"Mobile" page type is designed to bring you the option to link a mobile webpage to a native app page.

To add a mobile page type to your application, go to its Dashboard, then access the "Edit Pages" section. Once re-directed to the app editor section, click on "+" Add button to add a new native page to the application. From the appeared list look for "Mobile" page, click on it to add to the app. Give it a page ID.

Now you may go to edit the mobile page itself.

Here, you need to input the URL link for the mobile web in the "Page URL" field. Remember, in order to have the mobile web work within your app, you need to make sure to enter a valid URL link. Keep the structure as follows -> http://www.seattleclouds.com . You should have http and www elements in your link. Contrary, the page won't work on the device.

Here is a screenshot how this page is looking on a real device with custom "Page URL" entered.

Also, you may find the option to select one of the sample mobile pages, such as (simply by clicking on their icons):

1.Wordpress

2.eBay

Can you add a "loading circle" or something similar to provide feedback to the user that the page is loading? Maybe a percentage loader could be useful :)
Thank you for your feedback. We'll investigate if this is possible.
Any updates on this request. Currently the application only display black background.
Have your made any updates to this, when I view my app on my android there is no loading feedback. but on iphones/ipad their is using the "mobile web view"

1) I added - mobile.html
2) I included the URL - https://twitter.com/Salsa_101
3) Save - Done - now what ??
Mobile page is presented as a BLANK page, before adding URL and then BLANK after adding URL ...

Note: Also took the time to read the 'FULL Tutorial' ... which fell SHORT by the way side ....
I'll keep trying till I get tire... thanks again
The app simulator won't show the social page. You have to use the SC App on an iPhone to see the page.

still wont work social media even the rss can you pls fixed this problem i been doing all i can still wont work

I don't have that problem on my apps. When I select LinkedIn type page and add the LinkedIn url, I can't see the page on the App Simulator, but when I use the SC App on my iPhone it works. When I submit app and download it onto my iPhone, it works.

Some pages won'r show correctly in App Simulator because it is HTML based not iOS based. Bt they work properly on iPhones.

For the mobile page is used the Native OS UIWebView class. Since this is a built-in feature it can not be modified by us.

Adding this feature to show on the app simulator would be as simple as using an iframe. Why not add the feature so that people stop freaking out? It will save you the headache of answering tech questions and forum posts.
Because we're not using an iframe for mobile page.

There are changes on YouTube that affects "mobileyotube.html" page type setting.

The video does not load internally anymore.

Can anyone advise the best approach with YouTube ?

Thank You.
Fauzi, please open a related support ticket and we'll check your app.

Hi Aurel, how are you? After a long time... Can you please add a "loading circle" or something like that to provide feedback to the user that the page is loading? Maybe a percentage of loading will be the best one.
Mahmud,

Can you please open a support ticket?

Regards,
Aurel
