I'm almost ready to launch my first iPhone app (Yes!). The only thing i need now is a push notification that work.

1. I have followed the instructions on how to make my file: "aps_production_identity.cer" from SC homepage here:

2. On SC homepage where I shall upload the file, I get this error:

The file have the right name, and it comes direct from Apple. I have tried to download it a couple of times, but I still get the same error...

Is there anyone in here, who can help me..?

I suppose you are trying to upload your Push Notification certificate on My Applications page, right? You need to upload there your Distribution Certificate and NOT Push Notification Certificate. Distribution Certificate is one for all of your apps. Each app that you want to enable Push Notifications must have a Push Notification Certificate.

You upload Push Notification Certificate in your Push Notifications page (you can find a link to this page in your app Dashboard).

Thank you 4 the answer.
No. I have uploaded my Distribution Certificate, and there is a yellow dot on is, so I not sure, if it is ok.

I'm new on SeattleClouds, so my hope is, that you can tell me, if my application have the right setup, so I can send notifications to the users, when the app is in the app store... or... if I have missing something :o)

I think your Distribution Certificate is ok. But in order to enable Push Notifications you need to do the following:

1) create a Apple Push Notification Certificate (follow this tutorial ).

2) Go to Your app Dashboard by clicking [My Applications] on the top of any page and then clicking [Dashboard] near your app name.

3) Then click [Push Notifications]

4) Then upload the Push Notification Certificate using the form below

PS. The process is basically the same as for your Distribution certificate but you do it on another screen.

Yes. I know. I have already done that :o)

After uploading my push certification, there is also a yellow dot in front of the name of the file (se picture). Is that correct, or ..?

To get the push notification out in the app, I have added the standard push notification page to my app. Nothing else. Do I have to do anything else, or will the notification work after that..?

Yellow dot is ok.

Push Notification Page is not necessary. The users will still get the notification. But this page keeps all sent notifications in it, so users can read them later.

There is only one thing you need to do to make PN work: when you request a build select the corresponding radio button which says you want PN to be enabled in your app.

Thanks :o)
One last question... When and where can I upload some screenshots, so people can see, how the app look like?

I coulden't see it was a possibility, when I submitted it in SC...

You can upload screenshots when you create an app in iTunes Connect, if you prefer to do it yourself. If you want us to do it and you provided us with your iTC credentials, we'll do it for you.
