How to change localizations for your application?

In other words in this tutorial we'll explain how you can translate your application and to provide the app in a different language than English. The localization can also be used if you do want to change the words in the same Language, but to use synonyms for example or provide a longer explanation in a description of an item.

So let's proceed.

The Localization is provided in App Dashboard - Application Settings - Localization section.

In this section you'll be able to change/translate any available words for features and entire application.

For Android:

Once accessed you will have to click on Edit Strings and the Edit page will load.


The localizations are listed by names in which you will have to change the value as shown below.



For iOS:

The localizations for iOS apps are listed as strings in which you will have to change the value next to the name as shown below.


Localization Language (Will not effect preview) - this option applies localization for basic strings used in your application such as Back, Cancel etc. Note that it does not apply localizations for all features.

Restore to default - this option (provided for both Android and iOS) restores all strings to their defaults and updates all localizations to the latest version.

Remember to save the changes by clicking on Save button on Left side of the screen then click on Save Changes 


In order to apply localizations the app has to be updated. Localizations are not available in Application Previewers. Localization is made global for the entire application and is for one language only. In order to see the results, you will need to request an application build.
