XCuisine template is the ultimate way to make a mobile app for your business in sales. In the core of it lies our Order page type which allows users of your app to add items to their in-app shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

Start by completing template configuration process. The configuration process consists of such settings as basic info, target platform (iPhone, iPad, Android or Kindle), type navigation, font and background settings, etc.

Preconfigured improvised menu is placed on the second tab of the template. There are four locations by default each with a menu of its own.

Clicking through the menu and into an item you will find an “Add to cart” button. Note that items are added to the shopping cart with our custom addtocart:// URL scheme. The scheme has four parameters: item name, item price, URL of item info and URL of an image. All parameters are separated with an ampersand (&). Example:
<a href="addtocart://id?itemname=name&itemprice=price&urlimg=image.png&urlinfo=info">Add to cart cart</a>

To activate payments through the order page type you also need to register a merchant account at Authorize.Net payment gateway.

Can you have more than 4 venues?  How do the venues receive the order, on their respective email addresses I assume?  Can orders be received on a printer (printout)?  So each separate restaurant venue needs to register a merchant account at authorize.net or are you referring to us to register an account in order to enable this function for clients?  Can paypal be used for payment?  Is there a pick-up and delivery option?

Great feature, well done, please keep working on it as this is an invaluable feature for franchises.
Thank You

I have created an authorized.net test account and entered the login id and transaction key in the order form, but I get the following error when placing the order: The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.

Do you have any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Could someone please confirm if this template is considered an In-app purchase and therefore subject to a 30% cut for Apple?
On other pages in this forum, it is mentioned that Apple wants the payment for consumer goods like pizza to be processed outside of app itself.
Is this true or can XCuisine be used without paying Apple?

Ken, there is no iap for fiscal products as pizza- you will have to use paypal/authorized.net and so, therefore apple is not taking 30% cut...
bytheway- they will reject the app if you try to add pizza as In-app purchase...
did i made it clear for you?

Yes, thank you for the answer. I have a couple of more questions.
1) Is there a way to customize the order form and add a delivery area before I purchase a plan with SC. (I need a proof of concept for my client before he commits)
2) I know native apps are not available for android. Will order page be available for android in the near future. If not I would have to go with a shopping cart right now.
